Advice needed: Tapatalk or what?

So I got a new iPhone at Christmas, with lots of memory, 128 GB (vs 16 GB on my old iPhone 5) and I wonder what do you guys use for mobile forum browsing or watching? Memory was a nightmare as I had to trash a lot of stuff twice a year or so ...

Is Tapatalk the best option today?
Is there an option with no ads?
Is there a good or better alternative to Tapatalk?
Free?
No ads?

Whatever you use, a phone always sucks for anything that requires a lot of typing (without typos like "Talapalk")... It might just do for browsing or watching but not for contributing unless you are at least 20 years younger than me...
I only use something with a real (mechanical) keyboard, even for messaging (like whatsapp). Every tool was made for a purpose. A phone without keyboard... not for typing.

because of some promotions T-Mo has been having in the USA
i have a nice 10" tablet with unlimited so i can take Discord with me
and catch Pokemon very easily when i am bored in some doctors office

$15 a month

but i still use a 'puter here at home for easier typing
and i just use normal web browsers for groups like this
and google groups

You are right Paul, and I'm a retired granddad, no younger than you I guess.
Don't plan to write, just some browsing when watching the grandkids, but I've seen Firefox may be enough for browsing.
