Hey folks, long time, no chat.
I found myself busy with work and my family, and that left me with precious little time to practice on my little student Lira. I still take it out for family music time, and it's been to one or two birthday parties, but I hit a wall practicing, namely, I only have time to play when everyone else is asleep.
So I did the only logical thing, and bought a Ciao MIDI accordion-the thought being that I could practice at night with a quality pair of head phones (which I still don't have). That said, I am baffled on how to smoothly work the MIDI system. I know there's the preset mixes and I like them, but say I wanted my own- ie Bayan Bass, Scandalli chords, and Musette treble-for the sake of argument. I have yet to be able to select a group of voices and have everything work out. If anyone has any pointers, I would love to hear them.
