What the F#### is all this ? As a newbee to this forum Im. Crying my eyes out!
Ive posted a serious question about my accordeon and its pitch (I called it by mistake tuning / English is not my 1st language) but my topic is hijacked by Jim the box, and others join him without hasitating to turn into a complete different directing.
Is this a childrens playground or a serious forum ?
Why dont you start your own topic when you have a question about the history of tuning ?
Excuse my angry words, but thats how I feel.

I wish mine was only 4 cents off, has anyone any idea as to why it is historically A443?

As I said I didnt realise that I needed to specify A440, it would have been nice to have been asked. :(

Sorry Wilco 58 I didnt mean to hi-jack your post.

I am sorry Wilko 58 if my contribution about my accordion and its pitch was not to your liking :o and that the thread went off in a direction that you did not like. :?

Im off now to the playground.

Browsing the internet though to find out the age and more of my model I cant find anything anywhere about this specific model. Who can tell me more ?

After your little tantrum, who even wants to?

Isnt this becoming a little unpleasant?

I agree I did hijack the post rather and for that I am sorry, the response however was rather.........extreme.
Perhaps the post can be split?

I enjoyed the playground even though the weather was not kind to me (it rained).

Sorry, for my hard words. I over-reacted. I realise now that you're all friendly, but maybe less organised than I am. Again SORRY . Let's smoke a peace-pipe (hope you understand this Dutch expression)

The suggestion I posted "to visit a playground" was from the comment - "Is this a children's playground or a serious forum " - I visit and contribute to 5 forums here in the US but none of them are as entertaining,- have members with a sense of humor, -and have members with a serious love of the accordion as an instrument as this one from across the pond. The simple beauty of this free forum is that we are all free to contribute , add,- and reply to any ones post. If any member here feels his or her thread is wandering we all know to ask other members to comment on the original posting or re- post it with another question - it won't cost you any thing, and it's much more polite to take time to hit a few more keys. :tup: Musically yours; JIM D. {}

Well, I think this thread should be kept intact.
I was getting worried about how things were developing.
As it happens it has turned out to be a lesson in how to deal with misunderstandings.
If only some other forums were as grown-up and determined to make things work out.

Hang on a minute, did someone just say that we were grown-up?

Lets smoke the peace-pipe .
Smokin :b

Yes; Grown Up , but being a kid at heart is where we get a "Sense Of Humor" :b :ch :b

I can't believe it, I took my grandson to the swings and because it was crowded and only one swing left, being the eldest I had first go. He started sceaming! so to avoid trouble I got off. Seems the modern generation just has no respect for It's elders.

Oops, apologies for highjacking this thread.
