Bass pallet leather repair…without dissembling.

Needed to replace some bad leather on a bass pallet. Just finagle the new piece of leather through the openings. You can put the glue on either before or after. Beats taking the bass assembly apart.

I have done a similar repair myself (but the leather was just loose and shifted, so it needed no replacement, just in-situ regluing.
It makes you feel a bit like a surgeon who does laparoscopic surgery. (Surgery through a small hole instead of making a large incision.)
When replacing the leather the added issue is that the pallet leather tends to be very thin so it may be hard to find new leather that is thin enough.
