Bass reed blocks

Wanting to remove this reed block fit new valves rewax . One block lifts out the other waxed in. What would be the best way to tackle the job. I have two settimo suprani accordions so plenty of Parts

I would simply do the rewaxing "in situ". As the other block has come out the remaining block should be sufficiently accessible from both sides to do the rewaxing without trying to remove the block.
