I just did a demo on the Beat Buddy to control it with the Irig Blueboard. I also am doing the same technology to control Roland bk-7m. If any interest, I can demo a video as well.
Controlling the Beat Buddy with Midi Bluetooth Pedal. A wireless solution.

There is a wide array of rhythms on the Beat Buddy, but you have to spend the extra $200 on the premium song library. Then $49/year on the any new ones. I have it all and it does great with accordion player.

Like any arranger or drum machine, they focus on new beat music. But it has some good beats that us accordion players can swing with...
