Agree...the first was an attempt to mimic the Lawrence Welk style.

Definitely heard that Lawrence Welk/Myron Floren vibe on the first version. I never realized that was Welk's way of ending many of the songs his band played. Kind of like a signature sound. I liked the second version better.
