Hi all,
I'm interested in the accordions mentioned above, mainly for trad/folk dance music and song of the Scottish/Irish/North American varieties.
Would be good to read any opinions on these two Scandalli models: Scandalli AIR III and the Scandalli Intense 37
Both accordions have similar specs and price:
37 key/120 bass
4/5 voice
double cassotto
hand made reeds
both available in LMMM or LMMH configuration
The big difference appears to be in the finish of the casing:
The AIR III is finished in celluloid (various colours available - black/blue/red/white etc)
The Intense 37 is finished in wood (mahogany, walnut, maple, cherry etc)
Has anyone tested either accordion line? Any preferences? Alternative suggestions?
