Deciding which accordion to buy (Hohner Tango, Hohner Verdi, Excelsior Accordiana 308)

If the measurements given are correct, the Excelsior fits more keys into a shorter keyboard, so perhaps the key scale is smaller than standard. That said, Excelsior has a reputation for quality. Also, Italian and German instruments tend to have a different "wetness" to the musette sound (with the Italian being "drier"). If you like your Hohner, maybe stick with that brand.

I've found that Liberty Bellows answers emails, so you could ask them the strengths and weaknesses of the accordions you're looking at.
