Thanks Eddy! Hmm, that can be a problem, John, guess you'll just have to enlighten them! Here, it's easier because people are so amazed to see someone actually playing an accordion that you could play scottish musettes for all they care. They expect at least one polka though, and so it helps to know the old Beer Barrel to show them you are not from Mars (or Chicago), or going to try to patronize them with jazz. My only beef is that I like to play Carnevale di Venezia as an Italian standard but people dismiss it as My Hat it Has 3 Corners which I believe has something to do with kicking out the Brits.
