Hello folks- brand-new here. I am wondering what I need to know about Excalibur Weltbestin Ultralight accordions. Where are they made? Are they any good whatsoever?
New ones are $700 to $1000, and they look great, and sound good, in the videos I've watched. Sorry if this has been discussed- will appreciate any feedback. Thanks!

Almost a given that they are made in China ,and advertised / worded to make buyers think they are of German quality.
Maybe they aren`t too bad for the money , " if " they were sold by a reputable dealer . Personally I`d hesitate to buy anything from Jim Laabs the sole seller for his brand Excaliber.. I write from a personal experience with the seller(Jim Laabs) whose music business has a bait and switch reputation.
If you read their reviews (not necessarily the Ebay ones you will understand what I mean)

Ive never done professional business with the dealer Jim Laabs but, I have had in the past customers that have brought in accordions both button and PA that they have purchased from this firm with the Badges Excaliber applied on them.
Anyone wanting to care for advice to and for any purchase from this firm, send me a PA !!
As for comments of the firm here on the forum, I will have to refer to Thumper ---

With anyone that wishes to make up their own mind, just google "Jim Laabs review", the first two results (bbb.org and pissedcustomers.com) answer the question somewhat.
