Hello!
I've noticed that it is hard to push and pull on higher notes than lower notes? Why is this? What does this indicate/mean? Something I should be doing differently or something with accordion?

If you want to push or pull as much air through the high reeds as through the low reeds it is of course a lot harder, but the sound would be incredibly much louder. Our perception of sound if logarithmic. For the same observed sound volume the vibrations of the air are much smaller for high notes than for low note. That's why you can see the woofer of a loudspeaker move back and forth quite a bit while you don't see the tweeter move at all while it is playing quite loud.
So in fact to play say "mezzoforte" on a low or a high note you should be applying the same amount of force. You will be using a lot less air on the high note but it will sound equally loud to our ears.

If I understand correctly, you have to apply a lot more pressure to get the high notes to sound than the lower notes. If so;

It's probably nothing you can adjust by playing differently. It could be a lot of different things but the first thing that comes to my mind is the voicing of the reeds could be off. Or maybe the leathers have come unglued. Or both. Or leaky wax. Among other things. Your best bet is to have a repair tech look at it as the above noted issues are not the only possibilities, but all of these things should be looked at if you are asking these questions.

If my understanding is incorrect I'll just see myself out. I probably will anyway.

You could just have ill adjusted reeds with poor response, which is very common, and often the problem is more pronounced on the high notes. In the worst case, you can hear a lot of air going through when you move the bellows gently before you get any sound at all.
