Height and depth of bass buttons

I have Hohner Piano accordion. Is it ok that bass buttons may have different height and/ or depth?

On the same instrument all bass buttons should have the same height/depth. But between different accordions the height may differ, as well as the spacing between the buttons.

I have this one. I have just received from repair recently.

I would say that if the accordion sounds good and feels good under your fingers while playing, you are fine. If very slight differences from button to button don't interfere with your playng, you're good!

Your box was built with bass buttons if the same height. The different height of the buttons will require alignment of the bass machine.
