Hi all. Im Mike. A b3 player looking to lighten the load

No idea....I used on accordion with midi fitted...no onboard sound module....I knew someone else disappointed by bass end of Ferrofish and he used bass tones from something else ...sounded awful ...
I did manage to edit the bass output on Ferrofish and get a real warm honky bass tone....loved it except for the earth loop....
I considered getting John Barlow of Elmat midi to mount the Ferrofish atop/half inside an old accordion and fitting midi with Bluetooth speaker to have a kinda strap on B3 but alas JB has hung up his soldering iron and retired....

are you saying you want to MIDI control a drawbar module, then
feed it's audio output THROUGH the 8x ?

my setup is an SKB rolling rack with the Roland Organ module,
a Sound Canvas dedicated to Bass and chords, and a small digital mixer

the rack works equally well with the 960 Midivox (or other MIDI controller)
or the FR4 (previously FR3) as master kbd

wireless MIDI and Sound and all the audio is processed through the rack
to (amp/speakers)

this works best for me because i want the Volume Pedal wired to directly
control the drawbars and a pedal to control the leslie sim

. . . are you saying you want to MIDI control a drawbar module, then
feed it's audio output THROUGH the 8x ? . . .
I don't want the audio output of the module to go through the 8X. I want the drawbar tones to go to the 8X (I think via Midi). The 8X Treble key board would then select the notes (depending on which keys are pressed) and send the audio signal out of the 8X via the L/Mono Jack to my remote speaker.

In addition to the module treble output, can I also send a Left Side Orchestra String bass to add rhythm to the module drawbar tones?
