Hi everyone,

I've been playing the piano accordion since 1961. In 2012, I joined the digital revolution and bought a beautiful white Roland FR-7x. The learning curve was pretty steep, but Richard Noel was a great resource. I purchased his 7x sets and used them as a base for my own programming. In 2023, I bought a 4x mostly because of its weight. It's a super easy accordion to play and I love that I can recreate Cordovox sounds ... I played a Cordovox for 20+ years and love those effects. I really like both of my Roland V-accordions. Each has advantages and disadvantages, but overall, they are great instruments. I also have a BK-7M arranger that I drive with both of my V-accordions.

Since I retired, I have reconnected with a past band member (guitarist and vocals) from years ago. We keep busy playing for residents at assisted living centers and memory care units in northern Minnesota.

Life is good being retired and owning accordions!

I'm looking forward to interacting with this forum.
