HOHNER VOX 3 ATLANTIC IVN set up.

well Gentlemen, i think you have likely narrowed this down
to a pedal/switch issue..

now my next thought is, do you think it possible he
ended up with a volume pedal from a different Hohner product
(it must have had the same plug, but may not be wired with the switches ?)
so
do you or anyone have a pic of the correct pedal that shows the
switches? so he can compare
and
does anyone know the pin-out of the connecting cable, which pin is
ground which two the volume pot at least so he can then experiment
with grounding the remaining wires momentarily to see if they trigger
the start/stop or break or something ?

i have never eyeballed these, but i am guessing what, some kind of 6 or 8 pin
slide-it-in connector from the old days ?

the original pedal may have had 2 side bars that acted like switches... how else was the rhythm unit to turn on or off without either of these two?
Thank you my friend you are a star that`s exactly what it does, I assumed it was just a volume pedal & the side bars were to prevent your foot sliding off, now working.

No idea if it's the same, but on the Vox 4 you hit the side of the pedal to start the rhythm.
Hi knobby, you too were right, it wasn`t till JerryPH mentioned the side bars that the penny dropped, I was looking on the sides for a button or switch, thank you & all that have replied, without your help I would have probably never sussed it.
