i think i will keep to the one position my hand stays in as i can manage to reach almost all the natural basses and chords.i will keep practicing this song and others using these range of chords.

how often are the accidental basses , chords used?
Frequently enough. Typically B♭ downwards more often than F♯ upwards. After all, its closer to C and also the natural range for typical brass.

I think you are making up too many theories and rules that are too arbitrary to actually be helpful.

well as said im getting alot better at song of storms which covers the chords bb , f , d , a , e. if i can play this song then the buttons it doesnt cover i can still hit them so i have all the naturals and if i start a different song then all of the different angles used can be used for another big range thats how i currently see it.

<OFFTOPIC>[offtopic]Are you looking for advice or validation? There is not much gratification in helping someone who will reject advice based on the extensive experience of trying to play one piece, and gratification is the currency in which help in a forum like this is typically rewarded, even if it does not have something as visible as "Like" scores. You don't bother showing much of a regard for others, starting at the interpunctionless stream-of-consciousness form but also pervading the content. Several others have already stated that they won't bother replying to you in future, stating their reasons which did not seem to register on your radar.

Making the best of people may be harder than making the best of an instrument, but some basic common-sense maintenance will usually have good payoff.[/offtopic]</OFFTOPIC>

Sounds like youre doing quite well.
Maybe you could post up a recording of you playing it and the the sheet music youre playing from?

There’s no “best way”, only “your way” and “my way” and “everybody else’s way”.

Thats quite a wide spread of chords. I think most people would say work up gradually to a range like that, but if you can do those well thatll be an achievement.

agreed build up to it gradually but in actual length the distance between Bb and E is only around three and a half inches. and if playing chords only within the span of 3 or 4 fingers without moving the hand.
