Karen Tweed mentions Hugo Herman's master technique as the book she used for accordion practice exercises when learning. I've googled it with no success, so guess it is out of print.

Can anyone please recommend an accordion exercises book, that's a bit more than complete beginner, please?

Published in 1959.... you're probably correct in assuming it's out of print...

"Master Technique for the Accordion - Hugo Herrmann" nothing coming up on 'The Book Depository or Abe books.

Worth asking at your local Library?

I found an excellent book at our Performing Arts Library; it's out of print, East German, and probably meant for freebass as I've only just realised. The exercises are pleasant to play as well as useful. Kompendium der Akkordiontechnik, Hans-Joachim Grassni.

For Hugo Herrmann, you could try amazon.de
