Install new stripes - left or right?!

I am installing new stripes and i have a dilemma: the longer goes to the left or right side?
Which Is the rational behind?

Yes right is longer so the black notes can be under your chin

Look at Alexander Poeluev in this video. That's how your right arm should be held while you play.
To achieve this position (whether standing or sitting down) the right strap needs to be quite a bit longer than the left one.
Alexander's accordion has 5 chin switches and his chin is approximately above the center one, so to reach all of them his head needs to move about the same to the left or right. That's the ideal position you should try to achieve,
