I am watching some Ebay auction but don't have the money to be betting myself. From the photographs I am fairly sure this should be a C system (the pictures are not really useful, but "black" buttons are marked with a single black dot and I think I recognize the C system pattern). A Morino Artiste XN.

It's a large-range 5 reed, 2 reeds in cassotto. Tremolo is only available in a 3-reed variant (Paul may have an idea how to modify it). It will be really heavy (its predecessor XD was lighter). If it is in reasonable order, it should be a solid performer for all sorts of music, with the free bass making it suitable for all sorts of piano/keyboard music, though I suspect that the tremolo may be stronger than you want for classic/jazz, and you won't drag this monster into a folk session. But that's just one of 4 reeds.

Auction still running about 1.5 hours and right now it's a steal at sth like EUR650, though it probably won't stay there. And the seller will take it back for a fortnight.

Anybody want to join the CBA revolution on both hands?

P.S.: Oops, I see that this is only sent to Germany. I'd offer to do the basic testing and shipping (or return), but that makes things much slower and more complicated, and you'd likely have to trust my judgment (and probably a video conference) with regard to being able to take the return option in a timely manner.

P.P.S.: Gone for €816. Man, CBAs have a rough time getting sold these days. That's probably about €45 per kg. I think there is cheese that is more expensive than that.

Sorry @dak I'm not a fan of accordions much above 12kg. However, if you ever spot a 1960s Victoria W420V (Richard Galliano's free bass model) button accordion I'll go for it! :p

Well, I think if you wanted to get a heavier one than the above, it would mean crossing the iron curtain.

In Germany not really likely. Maybe register suitable search patterns with Ebay: that way you have a chance to get notified by mail.

CBAs in general do not have a rough time getting sold. The problem with this one is that 1) it is MIII instead of convertor, which few people still want and 2) it is huge and weighs a ton while most people want small and lightweight accordions.
