This would be great to see. He has a really nice sounding excelsior, and great technique. I see his has only three bass changer switches, is this still a 6 reed bass like the other excelsior symphonies I've seen? It sounds like a nice tone chamber for the bassoon reed too.
On the video you post Jack is playing an Excelsior Symphony circa 1950. I have the same model that I have restored to new condition and is now my "Main Squeeze" acoustic. This one has LMMH treble with sordina and 5 reed bass. The pickups are 4 treble and 2 bass from the factory. These were the last of the New York, NY USA Excelsior's as after these all production was moved to Italy.
