La Mer (Beyond the Sea) - accordion Victoria Poeta - arr. Arrigo Tomasi

Just beautiful Piotr!

I'm used to that wonderful Bassoon reed from your Poeta so this was interesting hearing a different treble register. It looks like you pulled the decorative grill mute for the purpose of audio clarity.

And you get a pass on using the accompaniment and not playing the bass registers because I've seen you play previously and know you can do it!

;)

Thank you,
It was more clarinet then bassoon but also very nice :)
No, grill is with cover - a fine mesh that is almost invisible.
Playing with backing tracks doesn’t involve the left hand.
Besides, I like playing solo on Intense more :)

and I love your comments :)

Oh Piotr... <heavy sigh>... I am just so disappointed with you and this one is even worse.

I AM KIDDING! :D :D :D

You continue to make great videos and even greater music, I always enjoy it even if I don't always post.
A couple of points... the mic is obviously in the way, I'd love to see your playing... you could have placed the mic close it in front of the accordion (to the right in the video), with no loss in quality. About the mic, you don't need a pop filter, unless you talk in to it using "P, B or T" sounds (also known as "plosives") hard. :)

Why didn't you play the complete song, it was so nice!

Super smooth.....
I play this tune with a couple of gypsy jazz guitarists.....they call it " la merde ".... because it's a lot of changes to remember 😉

Hi Jerry, thanks for the tips. I promise to improve :)
BTW, I made 3 years ago another movie with fantastic arrangement by Frank M.

Wonderful as usual Piotr, thanks! Oh, I see from your first version that this song is by Charles Trenet. I just came across this composer recently and I believe I I’ll try one or two. Intriguing.

Wow! Added to my list of music to learn when I eventually get on this level haha. Fantastic performance. Question, what do you use to put the backing to the music? Like, how do you record/edit that? It's like there is an actual band playing with you, soo good.

If you have backing track - just record accordion and mix it with this track in DAW.
