The London Accordion Orchestra are once again holding a 'super orchestra day' in Cambridge next Sunday organised by Ian Watson. Anyone can join in and play two designated pieces with the orchestra. I'm contemplating the long drive south for this, is anyone else planning to go?

Well my friend and I made the long journey south and it was worth it. The 'super orchestra' of around 80 accordionists played a prelude by Marc-Antoine Charpentier followed by Tango pour Claude by Richard Galliano and finished with Klezmer in Concert. The concert which followed by the London Accordion Orchestra was most enjoyable and all under the expert direction of Ian Watson. I can recommend any such future events by the LAO as being well worthwhile.
