Hi accordionists!

Since I left my old accordion at my home country, I am looking to buy a piano accordion for classical and jazz music, with the following parameters:

Reeds: at least 4/5 LMMH

Treble: at least 41 Keys and 11 Registers

Bass: 120 Bass Buttons, at least 5 Registers, preferably with a convertor (free bass system) but can take a non-converter model for transition

Location: USA, preferably near Wisconsin so that I can come and try

I would appreciate a lot if you have one for sale, or if you can let me know where to find one!

Welcome fellow cheesehead!!!! Have you tried Romagnoli in Chicago? 3 hours from you. Unfortunately I don’t have what you’re looking for at this point.

Madison is good for accordions. You have Brendan Loula playing forró style. I’m coming Feb 8 to see Dallas Vietty at Django Swingfest if you like Gypsy jazz.

Good luck with your search! Tom

Hey Tom thanks for the wam welcome and suggestions!

I'll definitely checkout Romagnoli next time I go to Chicago. I was too desperate to search from instrument stores, since none of the Madison instrument stores has an accordion for sale (can you believe that in state of polka??).

The Django Swingiest sounds fun! I might see you there if schedule is not full.

Hello. I have a pretty nice Regent 120 bass accordion that I'm open to selling. It's older but in excellent condition and I bought it from an accordion technician who spoke very highly of its quality. 14 registers on keyboard side plus 5 on bass side. Some photos are attached. I'm in Kenosha county, WI. The only reason I'm thinking of selling it is the weight. It's pretty heavy.

HI SIYUAN:
Sorry, I'm not in Wisconsin, but I have a very nice Excelsior AC with Double Cassotto that needs a new home.
I'm in the Cleveland, Ohio area, so if the is of any interest, please let me know, and we can discuss details.

Hello Siyuan, I live in Iowa and posted a Giullietti Supermodel 120 bass/41 keys. The amplification seems good as evaluated by a local music shop. I've posted it on Ebay as of 7 p.m. today so you can look it up there as well. Since it is a more rare model and expensive when I purchased it, I'm asking $5,000 plus shipping.

Thank you for letting me know!! Unfortunately I'm not able to afford this price level right now. But I wish you good luck finding a good buyer!

If you're willing to drive five hours, you could try contacting the World of Accordions Museum up in Superior. In addition to being a fascinating museum, they also refurb and sell used accordions:
