More Mario Muschi rocking the Bk7

Well this is weird. His channel is called Anthony Muschi but in his tunes it says Mario Muschi. I guess I assumed he was Italian but he shows up on Facebook from San Francisco. Go figure. Anyway, he showed up because I was looking for examples of Reginella Campagnola. Looks like, once again I am going to have to arrange it myself because I can’t find a sheet I like, although I have both the Quattrochi and Soares versions, both nice but not my cup of tea.

Darn, I don’t see any abc either, looks like I gotta start from scratch once again unless any of you wonderful friends has it…..

Thing about this song is to figure out how to make it decent, and not corny (ok, some would say it’s impossible) by de emphasizing the repeating eighth note figures, ie, the woodpecker.

Its an easy song with repeat notes. You must use 1-2 or 1-3 repeats on the same note. If you play not so speedy, its possible.

Thanks Murathan. I’m going to adjust it, maybe as quarter and two eighths, or 2 quarters. Maybe not all repeating. Won’t know until I get to playing it. Might be sacrilegious but I will just call it Jazz.

Maybe he was Italian, but moved to San Fran and went with an “American” name? Only the shadow knows. Anyway, I like his style.

WOW! I love this guy. I used to watch his videos way back in the day. Mostly because you can tell he just loves playing. Always smiling and content. Nothing flashy but solid playing and a really nice guy. I stole a couple songs from him then (Something Stupid) because I never thought of playing them and liked the way they sounded on the BK-7M and FR-8X. I don't know why but I thought he was in the clergy or something? Somewhere I got that idea years ago. Like there was a priest uniform or something hanging up. I could be crazy. He had some tunes where he played an acoustic as well.

I'll have to go check out his page now. It has been years and I literally completely forgot about him until your post! Thanks for posting!

Edit: Just went to his YouTube page and it's the same one from the past decade unfortunately. Nothing more recent than 8 years ago. I don't have Facebook so I guess that's that!
