I am a trombone player and piano accordionist with the 126th Army Band. I am most interested in Czech music, polkas and waltzes. I am also an accordion repairman and tuner.

JimD has been "our resident repair professional" for a good while, and very generous with his time and knowledge he is, but good to have someone else too who can give a qualified view.
Do you have Czech connections or is that simply a music that appeals to you? Any particular video clips online you can point us to to get a flavour?

I look forward to meeting new accordionists. My most special Czech connection is my beautiful wife, who is from that country. My grandparents were Lithuanian and Russian but lived in a Czech neighborhood in Cleveland. My great-grandfather was from Warsaw, Poland and was an accordion maker. My favorite Czech accordion players are Renata and Josef Pospisil:
