Parts for Excelsior Accordiana model 307 or 308

I was wondering if anyone knows where I can purchase a new grill/speaker cover for my accordion. One if mine fell apart. It is shaped like a bean. Thank you in advance.

there were 2 sizes of the "bean" part, but many other year models
with different looking grillwork will also fit for a swap

there is a great repair shop not too far from you in
Chicopee Mass. that has been there a long time..
if you arrange a visit, Jim D. may have a parts accordion
that you can just swap the grill out from..

this would not be available as a new part to order from anywhere,
so old shops with large collections of parts accordions are the best chance

or remove the second "bean" and just have some local artisan
trim, shape and glue in two pieces of brass or copper screen..
it needs to be something that will hold it's shape for the contour
of the grille, so just fabric will not do (the arms would hit it)
