Of course with the fr4x, I did all my editing with the software. Although, I tried it without, not that hard. The editor though gives you the whole picture. Makes it easier...
Being an expert on accordion editing is a plus. Now with the pc editor, you will be over the top.
I am still in post hurricane Irma trauma in south Florida. It is great I can hold these conversation to past the time. We are still without power. Hopefully, I can do my gigs this weekend. Had it cancelled last weekend. Have a French gig Friday, have plenty charged batteries...think the venue may have power by Then?
It should. I cannot go in to specifics but I hear from a lot of people in FL that are slowly getting their power back. It may take a few day or a week to more remote areas, but it is coming back pretty fast.
Good news from my side.
Installed the whole thing on my laptop.
New drivers.
New installation of Java run-time.
This time it worked.
Really not sure whats going on with my desktop in that case..
Still, now I can try it out at least.
First negative
- the interface does not scale so the window size is fixed by the screen resolution. On a laptop that equates to very small.
First positive
- the edits are written rather fast. Makes real-time changes comfortable
I had problems with windows scaling at first. It would cut off the bottom register buttons. Do not know what happened but it is ok now. Yes, would be nice if you could scale it to full screen. Is it possible, I do not know?
