Scandelli Bass Register won't open?

Hi, I just purchased an old model and where the bass register should be is this red strip that looks like it can be opened. Trick is, I can't open it. Has anyone ever seen this?

The simplest way would be to click on upload attachment underneath where you type your post. Click choose the file , select the picture you want the click upload.

Are you getting a red message that means your pic is too big? If so you'll need to resize it in a picture editor or with settings in you camera(phone?) before you can upload it.
What colour is the accordion?
