I got out some really old (bought is early 1950's so approx 68-69 yo) music today and they are so fragile I thought I would scan them. That's going well but I can't find them anywhere online to check on copyrights so I could share them. Even did an image search. They are Allan's Book of Favourite Songs and Second Book of Favourite Songs. Have uploaded JPGs of covers (Second is in terrible condition) and much edited PDF of first 2 songs in the first book.
What do you think - is it OK to share these?

I think you would be fine to share them.

There's printed and recorded copyright stuff everywhere.
I unearthed some collections in my pile which were published during the 1914-18 period, all designed to keep up the moral.

Thank you everyone! Looks like it may be a bit dicey based on Dingo40's link. The arranger A.Baynes seems to be Alec Baynes who was still active in 1961 and may have been alive after that! And also I myself have seen versions of a lot of these songs that are a lot better quality than what I can do by scanning them. So I may save myself a lot of time and trouble and not even bother even for myself!
Thanks again!
Trish
