My Giulietti has always had a slight air leak. I could feel it blowing on my cheek when I played. It appears to be getting worse now though. It appears there is a gasket material on the bellows and the right hand mechanism attaches and compresses the gasket for the seal. Being about 50 years old the gasket appears to have lost some of its spring and does not seal as well as it should.
For those who do repairs am I seeing this correctly and is this gasket replaceable? Where would I find one for a Giulietti Model N4?
Temporarily, I put a small amount of heavy paper towel (Wyp All) in the slot and it appears to help supplement the gasket.
