Sound expansion -any others, apart from Roland?

I've installed the expansion packs, but what I am really after is more EPs...seems there are only two (standard EPs)

So, I guess not.......although I did find a couple more EP's - pianos still leave a bit to worry about in terms of quality.

The EPs aren't that great on the Digital Accordions. There is a specific one with sound expansion only for piano, which include 2 E-Pianos. There are also a few samples on the "Orchestra Expansion". Overall they need some tweaking with the editor.

All expansions are proprietary to Roland, none other work, no one makes any others. Roland offers 5 expansion sets on their website for free, we won’t be able to install them all. For the 8X there are 9 expansion sets but we can only install 4 at any given time… 3 if your accordion is the Dallape version. While the regular 8X has all 4 slots available to install/remove, the Dallape version you cannot remove the Dallape expansion.

As an old school accordion Cordovox player from the 60s, the Dallape’ sound set is my favorite…

Thanks guys. As I will be playing in a couple of different bands , and solo gigs, I need the "orchestral", (as Roland calls them) sounds.

I'll tweak the ones there as much as I can, but I think I will also set up a MIDI control set and run sounds from the iPad as well.
