I'm not sure if this is the correct place to post this question, but I was wondering if anyone has experience using The Accordion Shop in Sunningdale, Ascot in the UK for repairs?

Hi Rowan, I know the accordion shop well, having bought two excellent used accordions from them. I also know that while they do the simpler repairs themselves, more complex work is done for them by others, in particular George Whitfield. George is a professional player repairer and teacher and a good bloke! He taught most of what I know about accordions. You can find him online. I am sure that between them, the Accordion Shop and George will take good care of your accordion. On the other hand if you’re nearer to South Wales than to sunningdale you could contact George directly

Hi David, many thanks for your reply. I actually contacted George already as he has an article about my accordion on his website, from a time he serviced one. I am torn between trying the job myself or contacting the professionals!

I've not used them for repairs, but I bought an accordion from them earlier this year and had a good experience.
