Page 29 today F, C , G , D , and A with Majors Bass note and chord played for 2 beats each finding the jump upto A quite difficult today but after the next few excercises we go onto alternating Bass

Are you using the printed fingering? I’m not at home until tomorrow, will have a look at page 29 then..

When you get onto Alternating Bass let me know, and I’ll re-arrange those chord onto a nice little sequence if you have not found it by then..

He does a good job as well.........I now have a fuzzed up and freaky left hand after several hours of practice, but at least am sticking with 4:3........the odd fall back to 3:2 occurs................ {} :ch :b  .

This seems like a good book for me to start off my bass learning.

I ordered it as an eBook from Mel Bay, and was looking forward to an evening of left hand finger contortions, but... although I received an email from them with my account details, the order email said my order was "being reviewed" - whatever that means. I could log in to my account, but when I tried again just now it says it can't find my username. (The same username I used successfully earlier, and is provided in their email to me).

Although the payment shows up on my CC account I have no promised download link, and no account. So my confidence in Mel Bay's ecommerce technology is a bit shaky.
