Titano lists 2 models of 72-bass converter accordions (Titan studio 72/2 and 72/3), but I have never seen one (even in pictures). 120-bass is more than I need, and this would seem to fit the bill exactly. But I've searched the web for years looking for this rarest of unicorns. Does anyone own one or have any information about these models? Thanks for the help!

the 2 reed would be for a beginner or someone
looking to try the freebass idea for awhile, while
the 3 reed would be more of a "keeper" as it would
be the more useful over the long run

as for availability and price, just ask Titano/Busso music
for a quote

as for seeing one and trying one out, you would have to
visit Virginia, or catch them at some accordion event where
they have a stand (like a AAA or ATA convention) but
have an appointment so they bring the model you
are interested in with them for sure

I'm familiar with all the Ttano models before the name was sold to Pigini.
As for the models you are looking for search the the Titano listing
on the Pigini Website. Titano and Excesior models (which they both now make)
should have the models your looking for. The models listed will have a Titano
badge not Titan.

Thanks for the response. So, if I understand you correctly, there aren't used ones floating around out there. A new accordion is quite a big investment.

I didn't find any Titano models on the Pigini website. However, Pigini seems to have some nice smaller converters.

geeez.. are you mad at Frank or something ?
why innahell would you say something like that ?
you always kind of hated Italian ownership/management of Excelsior,
but you want/wish the Italians to own Titano ?

Pigini owns Pigini and Excelsior
and
Deffner/Busso owns Titano and Pancordion
as well as still being the USA importer/dealer for Pigini

As you all know, I'm new here. If I said something controversial, I was unaware of it. I didn't mean to stir up any trouble.
