Hi - Does anyone know where to get the dead LED screen on my FR 7 replaced? I would appreciate any contact info. Most listed shops claim to repair Roland accordions but really don't work on FR7s. Thank you! Greg

Contact Jim D. on this Forum. He hasn't had too many posts lately. I know he did a lot with the Roland FR 7 model.

P.S. He is affiliated with a Roland dealer in Massachusetts that is very close to his home. I just can't remember the name of the dealer
Edit: I have the information on the Roland Dealer in Mass -- Thanks to a recent post from JerryPH

If for some reason Jim D. can't help you, try to contact 'torch', a member here.

He once mentioned to me that he knew a source of the replacement screen.

just wondering if y'all are getting things mixed up between models ?

the screen availability issue was only on the fr7X and it was poorly engineered
(and it had a proprietary pin-out and they never ordered more for spares)

while the original lower res. screen on the fr7 was a stock/common part

a schematic and parts list from Roland will have enough info
to solve these recent questions, even if they don't have the part to sell.
and any electronics tech who works on synths should be able to
figure it out if you hand him the Fr7 schematics

regarding the connector thread, the pin out is also in the schematic,
but hot-wiring one is difficult.. the pedalboard has it's own logic
and if there is a battery pack inside the fr7 you better get it right..

ps: the battery cover has to be in place to trip a hidden switch
