Free bass, low notes a bottom

Try looking into a dressing table mirror (or similar) while reaching for the notes?

Funny thing, I could never master welding looking into a mirror, but I can look into a mirror and brush my teeth or comb my hair (years ago when I had some!) yes, I still have a comb, but haven’t been able part with it! Even if I glance over and see myself on a video screen while trying to record my playing I loose all concentration. Parakeets I think suffer from this when looking into a mirror… I’ve a bird brain! I’m truly impressed by those who can play freebass, but it’s okay I think, to not have it on my to learn list. I wish I could go back and talk to my younger self of 14 years old and say…
