Right ...that's it.......I am just off into the back yard going to start that bonfire of old accordions that was mentioned on another thread  .............brilliant playing        as glenn says  with envy......
Bymarco sells (produces) a new accordion - although I think they may buy in assemblies and add custom grills, bellows & tuning. The particular model in the video looks like its based on a Bugari hi end bass & treble + custom bellows, branding & prob tuning. http://www.bymarcofisarmoniche.com/ws/index.php?page=details&prod=415&cat=27&group=22
Yours for €8000...
byMarco is an actual manufacturer in Stradella, everything made in Italy. And it would appear that they sponsor Mr. Valenti so the short and perhaps somewhat tongue in cheek answer would be "whatever he wants."
by Marco accordions (piano or chromatic button accordions) are made by Marco Cagiada from Stradella, Italy. Before he started for himself in 2000, he worked for Fratelli Crosio, Dallapè and Lucchini. [IT].
I think Ive mentioned this before but the most interesting part of this is that Mr. Cagiada produces an hour and a half tv show every week focused on accordion players with interviews, letters from viewers, videos, etc and posts them all on youtube. As smdc posted I do not know if all of the components of the byMarco accordions are built in the workshop in Stradella or if some parts are sourced elsewhere in Italy but it is clear that they are well respected and played by some of the top players. If I had a few extra thousand laying around I would buy one, and I just might some day. Have any of you seen or played any in your time? Anyway, you can find the shows here, even though they are in Italian I find them fascinating and would be interested in similar efforts in English or anything that you know of.
