We're having a little contest, running until the end of March. Please feel free to enter - see the thread in the "I Did That" section of the forum. Don't be shy, have a go!
Given the accordion player is getting old but still looking for light accordion with good sound, is there any double tone chamber for non 120 bass accordion?
Of course. Almost all accordion manufacturers make 96 bass accordions (with 37 keys in case of a PA) with double cassotto. They sound the same as their 120 bass counterpart but are smaller and lighter, but of course not "featherweight". Some shave off another few (hundred) grams by giving you a 4-voice bass instead of a 5-voice and frankly you don't lose anything useful by doing this.
