Anyone want to run with this?

This section always looked interesting to me, but I see it’s pretty empty. I checked it out because of another post offering some sheet music for free download, unauthorized by the estate of the composer. I’m pretty radical about protecting “intellectual copyright”, so just want to suggest something for this site that is legal for those who want to learn the tune from a score.
How about linking a tune to an existing recording, then giving a link to where the tune can be obtained legally (either free or by paying)? We wouldn’t necessarily share our own playing, although that would be fun, too.
I’m also happy to give my opinion about why illegal downloading of anything should be punishable by having to listen to The Hansons for 24 hours straight.

If everything was shared in ABC format then it would have easier for everyone maybe? Then you have both MIDI and sheet music at the same time and you can also slow down the tune quite easy. You can of course slow down a Youtube movie as well by googling "Youtube to mp3" and use the slow down tool in Media Player for example.
