I am new to PAs and I picked up my Arrietta 11M from a friend at a folk club for £250 It is a good learners instrument although I will have to spend money on it to update it

I have looked at the Ebay and other imported options Quite frankly having no manual skills and being partially sighted I would prefer to buy from a recognised source and pay the extra for a good modern secondhand model

All the instrument I own pianos - guitars earn money for as tools of the trade. I cannot cost justify ie to my wife spending £4 - 5000 on a top of the range instrument for a hobby which is not going to earn me money in the short term

I would welcome suggestions for a 96 bass box around £1500 to play world music Thanks Tony

If you gig then think about a used Roland 1x. So many read combinations and sounds that you won't get from a single acoustic box.
Even if you only use it for accordion sounds.

Obviously these Chinese accordions are not high end or even mid grade but it`s still absolutely amazing that they can actually build a full size , 41 keys and 120 bass , 4 reed accordion with 13 treble voices and 5 -6 bass voices and sell it for a profit for $200 USD.

Its subsidised....
