OMG yeah, though work dominates my life at this time, I have way too many other interests to keep me even busier after I retire. Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and I'll likely expand to no-Gi grappling and Muay-Tai to add a little more spice, photography, videography and #1 on that list, my accordions is just the tip of that iceberg! That shouldn't happen to you. I've known many guys that died very soon after retirement. I believe the reason was that their job was their whole life. They had no other interests, so retirement was total boredom for them. It sure seems like you don't have that problem.
I'd love to make a free video series that covers some of the basics of how to play PA accordion starting with how to get properly strapped in (another Mild to Wild series, anyone?), and of course, finally sit down and have the time to concentrate on Free Bass! Of course, I'll also be able to be even more family focused as well... that did not need to be said, but that will always be "job #1" for me.
The big thing is that in about 10-11 months, **I** will be in charge of my time (then again, I may just decide to move to part time for a period of time before I make the full cut to ultimate retirement!), not some boss who's sole purpose in life is to make me miserable.
I am so excited to start that adventure!
Edit: forgot to add that I will be likely travelling a little more too, with test flights to Europe in a couple weeks and TENTATIVE thoughts of visiting Hawaii in the new year and of course Castelfidardo is a strong hopeful for 2025.
