Hello guys,I changed my mind and I am looking at a Dallape Organtone 3+1 cassoto.I know It is a good accordion for Serbian folklore since Serbians use Dallapes a lot. But my dallape model is a bit older(I dont know exactly the year, and I cant find the exact model on the internet).Looks good and the price is 2000euros.Is it worth it? 1736711523819.png

You always need to be careful with accordions like Dallapè or Guerrini that are popular in Balkan countries, but that are not always the genuine thing (but a reproduction made somewhere in the Balkan). I would for instance already be just a bit suspicious since there is no accent on the "e" at the end of the Dallape sign that should be Dallapè (or sometimes Dallapé but never Dallape).

Yea,I know Italian accordions are also made in the Balkans, but I dont think it's the case here, even if it would be,I would still accept it.I also heard that Dallapes without accent(or other side) on e aren't real Dallapes, but I dont really know what to say,I dont really believe this.Looks like a true Dallape to me.

I would say that IF it is in excellent condition at the time of purchase AND you are good at complex repairs like the registers (bass and treble sides), and don't mind fixing small issues that keep coming up AND it comes at a VERY GOOD PRICE, then, sure go for it. If it is the real thing, they sound great... but don't buy it because its popular amongst the Balkan players... you can play Balkan music on near ANYTHING and I know of several good Balkan players, NONE of which use Dallapè accordions.

Balkan music is sound characterized by having a strong bassoon, clarinet and relatively mild musette (sometimes) registrations with exactly 1 billion grace notes and triplets per song (lol). There are many good accordions with that setup... in fact, MOST accordions with 4 reed sets are capable of this! :)

Looks good
What is important is how it sounds, not how it looks. Regardless of the local image of the brand...

This is a true joke.😂 I also know high-quality German accordions made in Italy.

For me, the price of any box is irrelevant until I try playing it. Be careful not to look at photos of your dream boxes through rose-colored glasses. Because it is the shortest path to financial losses. Just my humble two cents.

Best regards, Vladimir

I'll see guys!I might update you on what accordion I buy in the future (some months)
