I’m trying to find a site that sells digital copies (or even would mail paper copies) of scores for some of Walter Losi’s tunes. My English language based google searches haven’t netted much. I believe the ones I’m looking for would be still be under copyright so you think there would be a publisher / distribution somewhere.

I found the publishers website and I found many scores available for download for free if I made an account. If you’re interested in very clean correct arrangements of some fun to play Italian music, I can’t recommend it enough.

I have registered on this site. However as I cannot read Italian I cxanot find the free accordion music. Can you provide a direct link to the page?

If you can find a specific “album” on the page and open it. There will be page for the album with the “ tracks” and each track will have several options (some will be grayed out) if sheet music is available for the track it will be the option “Do”.

If you’re logged in, selecting the “do” option should open a pdf you can download.

It’s been a while since I downloaded purchase content from there but they have mp3 backing tracks for some of the accordion scores. I recall I had to virtually visit a friend in Europe to have a valid EU address to complete the purchase.

Yes, good site and I managed to register and view a few free sheets. However they were all single note, i.e. just melody lines. Can you recommend any specific arrangements that are free. Thanks anyway.

The actual recordings being notated use a lot of single note melody lines for the accordion parts and the notation uses solfège for the left hand parts. This is pretty typical for this style of music.

The best thing to do is listen to the samples provided by the green speaker icon next to the tracks to find a tune you want to learn. “Cumbia Che amor” from Walter Losi’s “cumbia bachata compilation” album is an arrangement that can be pretty fun.

Thanks. I listened to that and followed it on the sheets. I will have a search for somthing more to my taste. I don't like it when the rythmn domi nates.
