We're having a little contest, running until the end of March. Please feel free to enter - see the thread in the "I Did That" section of the forum. Don't be shy, have a go!
Went to see the opening night of their current tour last Saturday night in Skipton. They were brilliant as ever. For anyone who has never seen them live, don't miss the opportunity if you get the chance.
Aly Bain (fiddle) and Phil Cunningham sit there and play mainly traditional Scottish stuff, tell jokes and amusing anecdotes. Check them out on You Tube if you wish.
Fabulous concert and phil did an insane version of Jeans reel. Lots of nice bass but his midi was damaged on the flight over and he spent a frantic 10 mins during the interval fixing his bass right in front of me. He played a compact Borsini with midi left and right. Brilliant evening.
