I can only speak for myself but I am not and have not been in the least bit ''upset'' by anything posted by anybody on this thread and I hope nobody else has been upset by what I or anybody else has posted.

The common factor for all of us is a love of ''the box'' be it large small piano, continental of 'diatonic'. What we see as good , bad or indifferent box music varies enormously and probably covers the whole spectrum of what can be done with the instrument.

Sharing differing views on topics is a part of lively and healthy debate and may even give us a better understanding of what we don't appreciate and what others do appreciate. All this can and should be done in a friendly exchange of banter and even sometimes with ''tongue in cheek' .It only becomes destructive if we start to criticise one another which is quite different to posting an opposing view in the interest of debate.

George - :D :( :o  :? or whatever!

I regret posting the Sonia Roz piece because this is the first time Ive seen people upset here.
So heres a thought:
There is a site called Birds.org.uk it includes people who
watch birds
sketch birds
photograph birds
are taxidermists
like chicken soup.
Can they all live happily together and what might make it easier for them?

Are they people ?.....then probably not.
There is always a feeling from others that when an individual decries, disapproves of , does not like something that they do like that they are being attacked personally  ....not at all the case .......

Keep on posting em Dun L, likes and dislikes are all part of lifes rich tapestry........oh by the way ......I would rather have chicken soup than taxidermist soup that is like chicken soup........

ChrisH -thanks for placing Night in Tunisia
I knew it was familiar but it's a very long time since I last dug out my LPs.
You're right - Bebop - brave girl!
