A few years ago Russians came up with their own version of Musictech or Littau MIDI system, specifically designed to be installed on a small two row 25/25 or 27/25 Garmon. At one point I was looking at them, but then sanctions came in, and now it's pretty much impossible to buy them directly from Russia. What these guy can do with them is pretty amazing.. It's kinda like a folk version of the Roland FR-1x. Typical cost for the install (parts + labor) from what I understand is about US$1500. They don't sell the MIDI system by itself. They want a deposit and then the accordion is ready in about 3 months. You can install on an existing accordion or get a new one thru one of these MIDI dealers. A basic Russian Garmon / two row Russian accordion (Schuya or Tula) goes for about $700-800 in Russia.

Yes, like the music, the instrument, the pet "dingo": truly, a great disaster about the war. Things will never be the same.😐

My advice is leave well alone. They are pariah country ......do not encourage them at all.
the country can not be trusted and unfortunately it has to include any company offering goods and serviices

Here's an example of the midi Garmin in action:

I have to say, I myself prefer the sound of the analogue model 🤔
