Songs/Pieces that transition half way through from ( Doh ) major to ( Doh ) minor and vice versa

Was just now listening to "Elenor" by the Turtles and noticed that it qualifies for this thread.

(And so does an earlier Turtles hit, "Happy Together". In fact, it turns out that Elenor was a self-parody, purposefully meant to sound like Happy Together as a sort of "so there" to their record label.)

There are not too much examples. We cant count Jazz, Modal or Mixed chord (in pop) styles. Just these almost.
