Thanks for the answers, Knobby. The forum is a much better place than Facebook. May it ever be so!

Thanks Knobby for the clarification about the commercial software and company support.
My skepsis was rather directed at the entire structure of the internet. Like the Washington Post article.
Everything on the inter-net is connected in some way, and mathematicians and hackers can break through any safety walls. Nothing is safe on the net.

Like the Washington Post article.
I'm not willing to read that article. Did you see this when you went to their homepage?

I am concerned with Internet privacy and no longer blindly accept cookies from websites. If you look into this you will be shocked at what you find; but that's for another thread, not this one.

I'll take it as it comes. None of us are unable to learn or we wouldn't be messin' about with Accordions.
I'm happy to be a site supporter and many thanks to Knobby for a thankless job.

Press on....

I'm new to this forum, however, for many years I followed "newsgroups" devoted to various topics including one called "squeezebox". This forum seems like a great improvement, offering embedded videos and photos to illustrate or provide examples. I haven't figured out how to use many features yet, but am appreciative of those who take the time to post videos I would not likely have found on Youtube myself. I don't really care how many likes or dislikes I collect, but it is good to know if people read your post and found it worth at least a minimal response. That helps one to know if they are actually communicating or simply blowing some solipsistic smoke.
