Morning all, hope everyone is well.

As some of you may remember, my wife and her brothers inherited my father in laws considerable accordion collection (a tad over 800 of them), I've posted some photos of some requested makes and models in other threads, and now the auction house is working their way through, collating and appraising for a potential auction date in April.

We have to pay for the marketing of said auction, so really I'm after some suggestions as to where to advertise this probably once in a lifetime auction of accordions, concertinas, flutinas (only found out they existed recently), memorabilia and other associated pieces.

The only one that immediately sprang to mind, aside from here, was Accordions Worldwide given my father in law knew Rob Howard and had helped him with his research in some of his books.

Any help greatly appreciated as always.

The only one we still have in our possession is a Scandalli Super VI that was meant to be sold privately, but the buyer got another one locally.

As much as I love Helmi and Paul, I hope these accordions go where they will be played…

Melodeon.net because you have a bunch of diatonic stuff, some high end.

I've been saving the pennies, just in case there's a couple dozen boxes that might arouse my interest. ;)

What a work of art by your father in law - a true accordion aficionado.

A touch over, think it was around the 810 mark by the time they'd all been collected.

Wow, that’s a beauty! Good luck with your sale!

there are several Facebook groups for buying and selling accordions. I think one of them goes by that title.

Depending on where you live you might want to try Liberty Bellow. They sell a lot of used instruments.

I was hoping it was Bangor in North Wales but judging by the location of the auction house it's Bangor, Northern Ireland?

Looks like you have a couple of stowaways in there. Did I spot a trumpet and a trombone hiding? :)

Correct, Bangor Northern Ireland. But they will ship internationally, that was part of the deal.

They're actually attached to the accordion. Their name completely escapes me, echophone maybe?

Northern Ireland eh? Wow, I’m sure glad it’s so far away……. I would be sorely tempted to go. Good luck to you Rocko!

EIGHT HUNDRED accordions?

Uh, Jerry, get to work on your collection....
HAHA!!!

I think I mentioned in another thread that this was it, 16 was my max, nothing else more is coming... also I am a selfish private individual that buys only to make me happy, not to resell or show-off. The Gola was supposed to be the last one, but that sweet Petosa Antico with the Tuba bass was my replacement for not being able to play the Heligonka, it is the last and I am pretty comfortable saying that I don't want anymore. :)
